Easter Egg Fun!

This weekend we had nothing specific on the agenda, which is so not like our weekends lately. So we decided to enjoy some relaxing time together before we become a family of five. We played outside, went sledding, went to church, and had a little easter egg dying fun. Logan only remembers a little of this from last year so it was fun showing him all that went into dying the eggs. He was involved with everything, getting the cups ready, adding the water, vinegar, dye, watching the eggs cook and cool (we did them in the oven, so much easier!) and dying the eggs and making his own little creations.
His ideas were so creative, he colored on his eggs, mixed colors together, and added stickers at the end.  Carter on the other hand, really enjoyed sitting on our laps and trying to reach for each egg to eat it. If you know Carter he will try to eat everything. I did try and give him a taste and he didn't like it, yet he kept trying to go back for it to eat it. He's a goofball!
Today we are going to visit the Easter bunny in hopes that both boys will sit for a picture:)

Logan getting all prepped and reading to go.

He doesn't look to enthusized here, but he was anxious to get started!
Finally time to start, the eggs were being dropped so fast in the color I couldn't keep up!

 It worked!

Logan is pretty happy about his fancy eggs. Now to wait one more week for the Easter Bunny.
