My sweet, busy, sneaky, quick, smiling, tempermental, little Carter offically is one! He had quite a week last week during his birthday week long celebration. He had one year pictures on Saturday and got to smash into his first cake. On his birthday he had a fever of upwards of 103, probably just a virus and a little teething added to the mix. He got to have a cupcake and a few presents on his special day. The fever lasted until Wednesday, Thursday he finally got to celebrate his birthday at daycare and have 4 shots at his one year appointment. Then on Friday, more fever because of shots. Saturday we weren't sure what would happen, but we went through with his party and had a ton of fun. Lots of family came over and friends of ours from Bemidji. We had a very chaotic, loud, and busy birthday celebration, but I wouldn't have it any other way than a birthday bash for our little man. He deserved to have some fun!!! Enjoy our many pictures of his special day! We love you Carter-bug and hope your next year is just as wonderful as the last.
