We had a busy, but fun-filled weekend this past weekend. It started out with some cookie decorating together. Then we made cornflake Christmas wreaths. Everything was so yummy, such a fun time of year. On Saturday we went to Aiden's 4th Birthday party, Logan had a blast! Then Tony and I got out for a couple of hours for a surprise party for a family friend. Then on Sunday we got to play outside as a family. We took Carter sledding for the first time and Logan got to skate on the coulee. So many fun memories I have down on that coulee, I hope he can make some of his own!!! Grandma and Grandpa so nicely shoveled for us so it was ready to go:) To top off the weekend we headed to one of my friend Susan's daughter's 2nd b-day at a hotel waterpark. The boys were exhausted afterward. It is 7:45 and everyone is sleeping soundly at our house!!! I'd say busy is crazy, but fun, lots of good memories made together this weekend. So happy to spend a few days with Tony and the boys. Back to work for one more week before a little break:)
Logie and Mommy frosting some cookies.....Logan was way more into eating then helping
Carter checking out the frosting, num num:)
First time on a sled, it took about 10 minutes and then we saw a smile... by that time he was freezing and it was time to go inside!!
Logan practicing his moves on the ice. After he was done skating he had to shake hands and give Tony knuckles for a good game. Funny what they pick up on (He calls this "nice to meet you") I am not sure that is what they say during the handshake but it works for now!!
Grandpa Don pulling Carter around the coulee
Attempt at an awful family photo. Logan wouldn't look and Carter looks like his head is getting chopped off by the string, but hey at least we tried!
Logan wanted to pull Carter in the sled
From cold to warm, enjoying some fun time in the pool at a birthday
Carter was a little chilly, he liked the hot tub best
Logan being a little fish. We had one scare, he wasn't wearing his life jacket and he cannon balled into the hot tub. It was one of those moments where I just held my breath and hoped he was pop up quickly. Thankfully, he could touch the bottom but boy this child of ours is fearless!!!
