Here comes santa claus....

Last weekend we went to Hutchinson, MN to our godson Lucas' baptism. We were so excited to take our first long road trip in our van and be able to watch DVD's the whole way down.... guess what the dvd player didn't work! (or so we thought). (After we got home we had our salesperson look at it, turns out there is a different slot for DVDs and Cd's.) Uggh, so the 6 hr drive home in the snowstorm didn't really help matters when we didn't have our trusty dvd player we were relying on.
So back to the good news, we had a great quick 2-day trip in Hutchinson. We got to see Kaley, Tim & Lucas and spend some time with them at their house. We were so honored to be the godparents to Lucas. Everybody did great in church,,,, except our wild little Logan. By the end of the service, Tim's brother Greg (who is a pastor) had Logan on his shoulders in the second row...slightly embarrassing. I wish I had more pics. but I was trying to help organize photos and people and didn't to take many with my camera.
So here are me and the boys on the kids chairs for the xmas program the next day.
Kaley & Tim with little Lukie....Such a nice service and keepsake in the background. Funny story, the pastor forgot to add the water and had to leave during our prayer to go get it. He said that has happened only one other time to him. Lucas' was pretty good and it was a long wait for him up there!!

On to the title of my post. We took the boys to visit Santa Claus this week. Logan's first comment when he saw him "He looks like a girl, I know he isn't but he looks like one". It was comical. He told santa that he wants hockey guys for christmas and that Carter should get some too so that he won't take any of his.
Santa also knew that daddy coached hockey somehow and was talking about it. Logan asked Tony afterward how santa knew him and if he had been naughty and that was why he knew who he was.
He was a little smitten by meeting a real santa claus
Logan is definitely our daring one... Carter didn't last more than 30 secs.

Logan from this year in his "matching my brother jammies" and logan from last year. Same Santa, new suit maybe???
Here is the best pic. we could get of the boys...once Carter looked up at who was holding him, he was through!
