Being new to the lake!

Logan is a newbie at all of our lake fun-filled summer weekends. So this weekend he got to experience all about what the lake is like. No sleep and all! We went to grandma & grandpa Schultz's lake for the weekend and on the way home we stopped to see grandma & grandpa Bina along with Uncle Brian & Brittany who we haven't seen in a while and Uncle Robbie. It was fun at both lakes... here are some of the things I got to do at the Schultz's

Play in the sand with lots of sand toys and a sun umbrella of course!

Learning to crawl on the hardwood floor...hard on the knees!

Swam in his baby pool that is almost too small for him already, he loved it!

Hanging out & drying off with mom

Moving around all over the place, loving the water and splish splashing!

Eating his first ear of corn, num num!!

Sleeping on our evening walk, a cat nap right before bedtime not such a good idea!

Bathing in the shower, loving the waterfall aka shower

Going for a four wheeler ride with uncle scott

and mom & dad

Grandpa Bob caught him his first fish & he went right for it. I am sure it would have been in his mouth if we would have let him! He is fearless!!

Driving the pontoon for the first time with Grandpa Bob

After all that newbie fun, we are ALL pooped out. What a lot of work it is to travel with an 8 month old. So much to think about for packing, eating, diapering, entertaining, etc. We are going to have to stock up all of Logan's necessities at 2 lake cabins this summer and we are excited spend lots of time at both places. We just hope he learns to sleep a little better with his mom and dad in the same room as him. Boy will that take some getting used to for all three of us.
The best news of all is that mom & dad are both done teaching for the summer!! YEAH! I have a couple weeks of summer school to teach for 1/2 days and Tony will do some small jobs here and there, but we are mostly obligation free for 3 months. We are very excited to have that time to spend with Logan and a few summer projects as well!!
