We've Come a Long Ways!

It all started last Sunday when we took Logan into urgent care for his "gunky" looking eyes. After 3 1/2 hours and 2 hours past bedtime we went home with eye drops and amoxcillian for an ear infection and pink eye. So Logan stayed home from daycare last week with Grandma Rose. By Thursday, after I had been battling with a cold/cough, I went in to the early morning clinic and yep, guess who had the pink eye? Me! That afternoon we left for the cities. Was this trip doomed for bad luck? That's the way it was looking.
We took Logan on his first shopping trip to Albertville, forgot Logan's suitcase and brought Tony's identical bag that he had packed for Whapeton instead. So I went out to a Wal-mart by myself late at night, not a good idea!
The next day we went to the zoo & Logan got to stay with Tony's aunt Polly. Where he had his first couple real tummy off the floor crawls. Tony and I went to a Twins game and had so much fun. On Saturday, we stayed with Auntie Kaley who had her frist bridal shower. Logan was such a trooper at his first bridal shower. In fact, he did so well with all of the car seating, driving, and strollering. It seemed like he never had any time on his own. But he did so well with everything!
We came home today with Grandma Wendy because Tony left early in the morning to go to Whapeton for school. So here we are a week later from what seemed to be a never ending first trip to urgent care to now a happy little boy who is starting to crawl, saying words like "ba ba" & "ma ma", and who just completed his fist long vacation away from home! We survived and now we are ready for a normal week of routine!!! We have come a long ways in 7 days!!

Coming in on the luggage carrier!! (and still smiling at 9pm at night)!

This is what Logan did at Ikea! Nice comfy couch and TV.

At the zoo, with a chimp

The fish were his favorite. He wanted to reach right through the glass and grab them all!

Lovely family picture, with my lovely glasses that I had to wear for 5 days straight because of my pink eye from my lovely son!

At the Twins game

So close to Joe Mauer from our seats!

and Justin Mourneau during batting practice!
