Santa Claus is Coming To Town!!

We took Logan out to visit Santa this week. It was a day that I maybe should have just kept him at home. He was fussy/screaming uncontrollably in the morning and again in the afternoon. But I thought it would be my only non-stress time to bring him before school is back in session for me. Wrong!!! He did do fairly well right as we got him out of his car seat to wait in line. After a little waiting he got squirmy, but did hold out for some pictures. Although, you'll notice he was pretty preoccupied with all of his surroundings and not worried about who the character was that was holding him. We did get one pic. of him looking at the camera but it was taken by the photographer so I don't have it digitally uploaded . My sweet little santa's helper was a little uncooperative for his mommy's camera. That wasn't the worst of it though; we continued to try and shop after my squirm worm really started to squirm....big mistake. He started to squirm then scream and scream some more. It was the most he had cried in a public place before....mom was a little embarassed. So we jetted out of Penney's through the mall and back to Macy's to get him to the car as soon as possible. His screaming fit continued for one & half hours, only taking a bath seemed to calm him....poor poor munchkin.

So thrilled!!

Yeah he's looking!! !

So besides our mall escapade here's the latest update from the past week. His medicine and formula are not making a huge difference in his temperment. We decided to bring him back to the Dr. to see about any other options....it is so heartbreaking to watch him cry himself to sleep because nothing will calm him. So the Dr. said the dreaded words, "He may have some colic" Oh great, my childhood coming back to haunt me. I was a coliky baby and no one let's me forget, and now Logan will be my constant reminder!!! We are going to alter some more things related to his medicine and maybe formula to see if it helps, so we'll see.

On the bright side, he has the best, cutest, and most precious personality when he is feeling himself. He smiles a lot now, coos and tries so hard to make other cute little noises, and is showing such a fun personality already. Every time I read certain books to him or he sees his picture on the blog site, it never fails, he smiles so big I always wait to see if a little giggle will follow!!! So all in all we are so happy to spend each and every second even if it is during the most awful cries with our little man, and that will never change!!! Everyone says, "It takes time and he will grow out of it" we will keep our fingers crossed!!!
Enjoy the weekend ahead and all the new fallen snow!!!
