Here is an update on our last week of fun in the summer: We were able to spend an extra couple weekdays at the lake (beautiful lake days at that), daddy went to work at his summer job, we (Logan and mommy) drove with Grandma Wendy to visit Auntie Kaley in Hutchinson, we went shopping at the outlet mall, sight seeing at the Como Zoo, and headed back to GF where Logan got to try out his first track meet. It was an eventful, but fun week! We are also seeing a little different Logan than we've had in the past. He is very easy to use the word "no" and he uses it multiple times.... he knows what he wants! He seems to have his own terrible two-like ideas in his head... we are doing our best to parent in all the ways and techniques we can think of. Not sure what actually works, if anything, but we are hoping this is only a phase! On the plus side, he is talking up a storm, his favorite phrase lately is "Where'd mommy go" you can replace that with Herbie, daddy, blankie, grandma, and so on. He is always wondering and questioning... I love it!!
We headed out on a family four wheel ride!
Enjoying a day at the beach
Amazed at the tigers at the Como ZooThis was taken a little over a year ago and I couldn't resist to post it in comparison from how much he's changed. We visited Sparky the Seal last year too!
Riding the Choo choo at the Como Amusement park
His first track meet, he did the softball throw only because we couldn't stay for all the races. We will try again another night.
He just loved being able to run and race mommy! He ran the length of the field, you'd think those little legs would get tired!!!
